Back in 1975, when Hussein Khazaal opened his Lebanese-inspired restaurant in the West Seattle Junction, it quickly became a neighborhood favorite—due in no small part to his love of food, community, and eagerness to "make something special just for you."

Despite changing locations twice (including 22 years on Alki), Phoenecia always remained true to its roots. Now, more than four decades later, Hussein's wife and daughters have come full circle back to the Junction, where Hussein's passion and gracious spirit live on in their newest location.

With unending gratitude that has been the hallmark of this family and their restaurant all along, Hussein's wife Inaam and daughters Nadia and Sonya welcome you to enjoy the elegant, casual ambience, warm atmosphere, and "something special just for you."
